“Field of Hope” is organized with a policy that we let animal survive and live even if they are the cows saved from cattle sheds with full of dead body and even if they are not able to make profit anymore.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to save all of them in the restricted area, but we still do think we should do our best to save as many as we can. Also we hope this will be a model project to save more animals.
We will act for the hope of recovery by supporting the animal .
The representative of SPCA acts as a joint organizer of this project.
We enter the restricted area nearly every week to look after the animals even we get exposed 160 Sv radiations in a day.Some of them are still alive because of our objection and some local farmers’ support however the government has decided all live stocks in the area have to be killed.
Japanese newspapers tell us wrong information such as all pigs in the area put to sleep so they can mystify people from what is happening right now.
We will fight for animals to avoid them to be killed by government for nothing!
Please support us to save animals in the restricted area.
What you can do:
Please let people know about those animals through your blog and Facebook.
They are still alive even they are exposed to radiation.
They will lose food by snow covering all the grass.
Please write to the Japanese government telling them to save those animals.
NIPPONSPCA has been saving stocks of cattle’s food before snowy season. (We representative has a permission to enter the area from the council, it is not illegal.)
If a change of government happens, they might speed up to kill these animals.
