Black bears slaughtered and their meat examined for cesium contamination. Even if they can’t eat them, there is no stopping the hunting of contaminated animals, all conveniently turned over to officials for examination of cesium contamination. Research papers to follow.

Fukushima Prefecture in eastern Japan were mainly that the spread of radioactive contamination of wild animals including wild boar and deer. Before the hunting ban in November, government relations, “In taking even eat meat” is moving out of registration, such as hunting refrain from calling or meeting with both quantity.

Each municipality has examined the level of contamination in the sample survey to capture the birds and wildlife will begin to fly around or walk around, “accurate picture of the confusing” and puzzle over. Decontamination can begin in earnest early next year, the priority of the mountains are also likely to postpone than urban areas, has become the bane of hunting parties.

Meat from wild black bear was captured in August in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture, the national interim standard for meat (500 becquerel per kilogram) 12 days earlier this month in excess of radioactive cesium 677 Becquerel, were found. In the province is “concentrated in the body and eating contaminated fruit” is said. Contamination was confirmed in wild boar and deer, can range Ibaraki, Tochigi and Miyagi are over a wide area.

During such that the hunting ban is scheduled for November in succession throughout except Hokkaido. Ministry of the Environment, “was captured in wildlife than the minimum required level decontamination is not a problem at the moment touch” review period and is not considered.

However, the fear of strong government, Fukushima Prefecture April 14, “To everyone’s hunting” Create a document entitled. Others are invited to eat the meat boar, pheasant, copper pheasant for birds such as called for attention and want to watch the results of monitoring.
