NO REFORMS to JAPAN’s ANIMAL WELFARE ACT for PROTECTING RESEARCH ANIMALS. The Japanese Government makes A UNILATERAL DECISION with NO REGARD to their OWN LAWS. They call themselves a “DEMOCRACY”.

NOThis was the time for the Japanese Animal Welfare Act to be amended. Japanese citizens are supposed to be allowed to write in and tell the Government the changes they wanted to have made to this Act. One of the changes was to give animals used for Research basic PROTECTION rights. Without any reason, the Government of Japan told everyone that NO CHANGES will be made to the part of the Act that involves ANIMALS USED FOR RESEARCH, even before the time for amending the Act was finished. Why? Big MONEY. Many companies from around the world actually have testing done in JAPAN for the reason that there is no limit to what they can do or subject an animal to. AND, let’s not forget, Radiation Research Studies involving animals, which is BOOMING.
