Fukushima Cattle story. Part 9

My Fukushima cattle story continued: While the Radiation Researchers were starting their studies and running their Radiation Research Farm, all financed by the Government of Japan; killing pens were being put into place to capture more of the cattle that had been freed by their owners. When some people tried to tell the public about these killing pens, OTHER people told the public that the stories were made up. They said that the people saying that the cattle were being killed in the pens were EXAGGERATING and making it all up. Those pens were to “hold” the cattle not to kill them.

However, the initial claims about the pens being set up to kill the cattle were correct. The confusion generated by the other people made people confused as to what to believe. And, a chance to alert the public was lost.

The pens were set up to let cattle enter but not leave. The pens had delicious food and water for the cattle, BUT, once the food was gone, no one replaced the food or water for the cattle. There was no shelter for the cattle, if it rained, snowed, or was excessively HOT, the cattle had no where they could go to get out of the elements. Some, already weakened by starvation, died. Others became sick exposed to the snow, rain, or heat and then died. The very young died first. There mothers could not make milk after the food was gone and every piece of vegetation had been eaten, regardless of whether it would make the cow sick or not.

One of the cruelest photos shows the cattle, thirsty and hungry. Their killing pen was set up next to a pond of water that the cattle could not reach to get a drink. They were all crowded on that side of the fence, looking at the water they could not have.

Some animal feeders started to bring the cattle food to eat and water to drink. They would keep doing this until the cattle finally were killed by the officials that had finally gotten around to killing them. There were people that called to complain that the cattle in the pens were being treated terribly and had no food or water. The officials ASSURED those people that the cattle were being cared for. Some people called to complain that the cattle in the pens were injured, that they had gaping wounds on their sides and why were they not being helped. Again, the officials assured them that the cattle were being helped. Then, the cattle would disappear. Killed.

This practice continues. The cattle that are lured into the pens are diminishing. The Government of Japan is winning the war to eliminate the “trash” that are the Fukushima cattle.
