36 million spent on “whale research” and the Japan Veterinary Medical Association wants MORE. They want your donations to help them finance cattle research.

Over $36 million dollars spent on “whale research aka whale hunting” by the Government of Japan from diaster relief funds.   And, since that is “whale research”, you can bet that money went into the pockets of the Japan Veterinary Medical Association via the actual Association or via its members, the whale researchers.   The Japan Veterinary Medical Association also is part of the Headquarters for the Relief of Animals in Emergency : consists of JSPCA, Japan Pet Corporation, Japan Veterinary Medical Association, and Japan Animal Welfare Society ( doubutsukyuen.org ).  And, maybe you remember the article about all that money that was going to various Veterinary Organizations that were not actually doing anything with Fukushima animals.   With all that money, you would think that they could finance the cost of keeping the cattle for their Radiation Research studies.  But, it seems that they aren’t willing to do that.  Thus, you see the ” donation” requests to help the people “feed” the cattle.   The donations to help keep cattle for research?  Research to help them find out how to decontaminate them so that they can be used as “edible” livestock?  Who profits from that?  Not the animals, but the people.   There may be some people that are all for this, but there are some people that would not donate if they know that their donations would be going to helping scientists do “research” on animals.   And, with all those ‘reconstruction” funds that the towns are getting, they should be using those funds to “help” rebuild the area, not funds donated by people that thought that they were helping animals in need.
