It is always something to ponder, the amount of time and money spent on these studies that end up killing the animals versus the amount of time and money that could have been spent, instead of on these studies, to actually save the life of the animals. Researchers and their supporters will always have an excuse why “it is better to spend money on these studies, even though many of them will be repeated and repeated”.
