Naoto Matsumura, Guardian of Fukushima’s Animals -Thank you, Lynda. I hadn’t had a chance to write something about this yet. I understand that the idea of spay and neuter is new to people in rural areas of Japan, possibly in Japan ini general. I still haven’t heard anything about Aki being neutered so, I do hope that stray male doesn’t end up putting her in the family way once again. Taro just needs a bit of time.

That is one of the best statements that I have read in reference to an “excuse” for what was said by Naoto Matsumura. Who wouldn’t want to continue to make this man a “legend” with what he said about his neutered dog, Taro? And, isn’t it time that some responsible Animal Groups get over to Japan to let them know about TNR? Let’s bring Japan into the light and let them ALL know about spay and neuter. It shouldn’t just be an idea to them, let’s make it a reality.
