Naoto Matsumura, Guardian of Fukushima’s Animals : I posted his photo because I saw him happily hopping around in a recent video. I’ll try to find it again and post it. Mr. M got him out of the trap and did the best he could. You can’t get a vet into the zone and he couldn’t take the dog out of the zone. Catch 22. But, Mr. Matsumura is very resourceful. It looks like the dogs legs are healing. Poor, poor baby but, so lucky to have Mr. Matsumura there to look out for him. This is a tough photo for me as well. If we could get vets into the zone or get the animals out, they could receive medical care and they could also be fixed or altered so there wouldn’t be more puppies and kittens that would be born in this place. Shelters are already overflowing. Where will all of these animals go?
