Japan’s Ministry of Environment and its Fukushima Radiation Research study using Fukushima Animals

Does this get your attention? Showing a map of the abandoned Fukushima areas containing the Fukushima abandoned animals does not seem to make any impression, but they are just like the puppies in this pot. They are going to be consumed by the “radiation researchers”. There was an article published on January 2012. It said that the Ministry of Environment has an ON-GOING study on the impact of the radiation contaminated area on life in that area -WITH the EMPHASIS on Breeding.
“To determine the ecological impact from exposure to radioactive materials from the Fukushima nuclear accident on life in those areas, especially abnormalities which develop, such as germination of plants and animal reproductive ability. To evaluate the amount of radioactive cesium in the animals, they will examine the body and will also look for chromosomal abnormalities. “

Why do you think the Government of Japan has been SO SLOW to move animals out of the area? Why do you think that they did nothing about the pets that were not spayed or neutered? Does anyone understand why I have been pushing the issue about animals being used for “radiation research” studies? And, please do not think that they will NOT take puppies and kittens. They have shown that they will KILL baby cows for their studies.

PLEASE PLEASE keep sending in messages to the Government of Japan.

A “study” proposal to determine if using “animal thyroids” would be better at monitoring Iodine-131 (131I), also called radioiodine, released from the Fukushima nuclear accident than “mechanical” air samplers.

This is a “study” proposal from scientists that want to see if using “animal thyroids” would be better at monitoring Iodine-131 (131I), also called radioiodine, released from the Fukushima nuclear accident than “mechanical” air samplers. They are not located in Japan but are in Europe.  Radiation research done on animals that are not even located in Japan’s Fukushima no-go zone.

“Using Animal Thyroids as Ultra-Sensitive Biomonitors for Environmental Radioiodine

In the course of the Fukushima nuclear accident large amounts of radionuclides relevant to the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban-Treaty (CTBT) were released and detected globally. We could show that the intake of environmental 131I into the thyroids of animals can be used for verification of the CTBT. Due to continuous accumulation of 131I, its apparent half-life in the thyroid biomonitor exceeds the physical one, thus making 131I detectable three weeks longer than using conventional CTBT-grade high volume air samplers.”
